How it Works

Here is the course process, from start to finish. It's as easy as 1-2-3:

The course is divided into 14 chapters, and each chapter is divided into a few short sections. It is a 6-hour timed course, so you are required to spend a minimum amount of reading time on each section before you proceed to the next section.

The course keeps track of your progress, and you can read as much or as little as you like before logging off. You can then resume the course when your schedule permits. After you finish the course reading and the final exam (multiple choice questions), you will have passed the course - and you're done! You can retake the final exam as many times as needed until you pass at no additional charge.

After enrollment, you choose your own username and password to gain immediate access to the course. Our program is simple to navigate, easy to read and understand, and perfect for Internet novices and experts alike.

Successfully completing our course will result in a two (2) point removal from your driving record as well as a mandatory rate reduction of up to 10% on your auto insurance for the next 3 years.

Once you've read through the course materials and answer the quiz questions you will then complete and submit a final exam. You will know immediately if you have passed the course.

You will be given several opportunities to pass the final exam, if needed. Your tuition includes the entire program and your completion certificate. If you do not pass, you will be able to retake the program immediately at no additional charge.

Driving is a privilege, not a right. If you break traffic laws, your driving privileges could be suspended or revoked resulting in fines and even imprisonment. The seriousness of your violations - and resulting penalties - are tracked by State of New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) using a point system.

If you are convicted of a moving violation, MVC will penalize you by adding points to your driving record. You will only get points on your record for moving violations - points are not assessed for parking and other violations. A table is provided for more information on the number of points earned for specific violations.

How do points affect you?

How can I get rid of points on my record?

Although MVC keeps a permanent record of all the points you've earned, it is possible to earn point deductions by remaining violation and suspension-free for one year or by taking a qualified online defensive driving course approved by MVC.
